Chiara Salvadori is a Tuscan painter and art teacher based in the countryside of Colle Val d’Elsa, near Siena — where the light is good and the silence even better.

Her journey into art started early and has always been driven by one question: what happens when the senses collide? Dance and music came first, teaching her to read the world through rhythm, harmony, and the raw power of gesture. Painting followed — and it never really left.

Along the way, she discovered the Martenot Method, a discipline that helped her weave together everything she’d learned into something new and distinctly her own. You can feel it in her work.

Then came Anthroposophy, which gave her practice a deeper, more spiritual dimension. Gradually, Chiara moved away from painting what she sees toward painting what she feels — leaving naturalistic imitation behind in favor of abstraction, inner sound, and the rhythm of the spirit. Think of it like a jazz improvisation: all the elements are there, each one earned, and together they resolve into something harmonic.

Her paintings don’t capture a moment — they catch things in the act of becoming.

In 2018, she founded Il Giardino dei Colori (The Garden of Colors), a Martenot art center and creative hub near Siena — a space where artists gather, experiment, and build something rare: a real creative community
